NAC Founder & President Rebecca A. Busacca Nominated for Negotiated Rulemaking AIM Committee

The National Accreditation Commission (NAC) nominated Founder & President Rebecca A. Busacca to serve on the Accreditation, Innovation, and Modernization (AIM) Committee for the upcoming negotiated rulemaking.
NAC Chair Jane Oates and Vice-Chair Ralph Wolff submitted a letter of support for Rebecca’s nomination.
“It would be an honor to be nominated as a negotiator for the AIM Committee,” said Rebecca. “I am eager to represent new accreditors and lead a collaborative effort to integrate tech-driven innovation into the accreditation process, ensuring we modernize in ways that directly accelerate student success and institutional growth.”
The United States Department of Education (USDE) announced that negotiated rulemaking will take place in April and May across two five-day sessions. Nominations for negotiators were due by February 26, 2026.
